Not too long ago, we became aware of an incident that involved players having their accounts reset against their will- we can confirm that the game itself, nor these accounts, were hacked externally in any way. We have found instead that these players fell victim to a scam that involved them handing over their login information and subsequently having their accounts destroyed. As always we remind players not to be giving out their login information to others as this will compromise the account in a way that we can no longer help with, and please remember that Bluepaw Games will NEVER ask you for your password.
We also again want to reiterate that we do not have associations with any specific players or groups within the game. We’re aware that certain emails we send tend to be screenshot and circulated within the community, with the receiver name redacted so that individuals can claim that they were the receiver when the truth is far from this. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us on our support line rather than assuming the worst, we are always happy to help where we can. And if you haven’t already, please be sure to have voted in Our Next Remake poll to ensure you have a say in what game we decide to work on next!
A new security feature has been tentatively added to the game in the form of a Captcha request. This feature will appear on odd occasions to users who meet certain criteria and will involve simply confirming you are indeed human and still playing the game. We want to highlight that this feature is tentative as we would like to work with the community on fine tuning this so that it provides a high level of security for players as well as trying to minimize disruptions to game play. Please feel free to provide any feedback or thoughts on this via our support line- depending on initial test results, a feedback session may be opened up on the forum to follow up with new ideas.
