Gameplay Changes

It’s been a busy couple of weeks, with both large and small updates rolled out into the game this fortnight; be sure to read up on the new gameplay changes!

UPDATES:

  • Timer refreshing issue fixed
  • Minor balancing issues fixed regarding battling
  • Weapon, armor & spell inflation removed (see more below)
  • Large security update added (see more below)
  • Gameplay changes to negative income effects (see more below)

A long requested action by the community, removing the inflation cost of weapons, armors and spells, has now been addressed and taken out of the game! This process took a lot longer than originally anticipated as we ran into a few balancing issues when trying to remove this feature, as well as compatibility issues with other aspects of the game. The initial designs worked on adjusting the item prices in order to balance better with the inflation costs; as a result of this new update removing the inflation costs, item prices have been adjusted back to their initial values so that the game balances accordingly. Overall, weapons, armors and spells will now be cheaper than before- so start arming yourself and prepare for enemies to do the same!

Another large update has been added to the game this week, in the form of security upgrades; even more cheaters will be caught and removed from the game now. A big thank you to all those who have sent in, and continue to send in, reports of those suspected to be cheating in the game!

Changes have also been made to how negative income is handled by the game after a few bugs related to this were fixed. Going forward, any gold in a player’s vault will be used to pay towards the negative income in order to give the player a chance to get out of debt. However, if the player remains with negative income and all vault gold is taken, then items with an upkeep value will be sold so the player’s debt is removed.

We hope you’ll enjoy these fortnight’s updates, and as always any questions, problems or feedback can be sent direct to us on our support line (we are open to communication 7 days a week with a response rate of 1-3 business days).
